I don't have my dear Pfaff, some electronic problem and I want to sew a lot. Perhaps is because I don't have it. My old machine, a Singer doesn't fit me anymore, does a lot of noise, don't raise the presser feet when I press the pedal or tie the thread in the beginning and end. And a lot of other things that I'm used to. I guess I have to wait :-(

I made this little purse out of a great tutorial, well I have to say that's not from that tutorial but I just can't find it and it's not so different except the way the pattern is drawn. Anyway the final result will be more or less like this one.

giant pincushion sew along

I decided to join Vickie from spun sugar quilts and make a giant pincushion.

table runner

If you are a moda bake shop follower you probably have seen this table runner.
I made mine with square corners and didn't sew the buttons on the flowers appliqué.

appliqué, crochet and hand embroidery

My old clothespin bag is very old and I needed a new one so I decided to do some apliqué, it took me a long time sewing but the final result was nice.

This summer I'm having a good time hand sewing. I made this pentagon rattle balls. i put a cat ball toy inside so when you shake it makes a sound that children loves.

It took me awhile to finish this quilt, it measures 95'x85' and I just love it.
